Convergent Evolution

Time is passing, time flies like crazy and the ocean can hold us no more

So the sky is our new limit, I’ve become another songbird

But these wings are mine not forever, once I’ll fly no more

Guess I wasn’t prepared to know this about me at all

When everything changes - nothing changes

I have no more fins so tell me please who I am now

She was not prepared to see what has become to her world

Thousand years have passed, but I somehow will know who you are

I remember your eyes, I know who you are deep inside

Nothing changed since the last time we met, but we’re of different kind

How will I recognize you when we will meet for the next time?
