Dear Photograph

Looking at me

from the lens to memory

it's a part of history here's a story

First day of school

you fell right off your stool

just to try and act the fool for attention

This picture speak a nowthousand words it's my turn

Dear photograph

I've got so many things to tell you

Dear photograph

in good or bad you'll make it through.

At 17, you left the football team

to pursue your other dreams or so it seemed

Turns out guitar doesn't get you very far

so you learned to drive a car for some freedom

At 22 you had friends to pull you through

you had everything to prove and you proved them wrong

We always end up where we belong

Dear photograph

I've got so many things to tell you

Dear photograph

in good or bad you'll make it through

These memories along with these paper sheets

can travel time and help define our personalities

And I would like to thank you for that

i would like to thank you for that

Dear photograph,

I've got so many things to tell you

Dear photograph

in good or bad you'll make it through

Dear photograph

I've got so many things to tell you

Dear photograph

in good or bad you'll make it through

You'll make it through

You'll make it through

You'll make it through

You'll make it through
