「蓝。掉」从一段19世纪的南洋移民史回望〈百家春〉，最初David想以「番客婶」为题，写一首闽南语歌曲，经由作词人王昭华建议流传于闽、粤一带的民间乐曲〈百家春〉，歌词完全切中情境。因此「蓝。掉」展开了一段〈百家春〉的寻古与探新之旅，并邀请万芳一起诠释以五拍重塑的〈百家春〉。
