Let's make pizza
By Rachel Wilson
Ben and Betty are at home with Dad.
Dad has an idea.
Let's make pizza for dinner.
Good idea, Dad!
But Betty is not happy.
I don't like pizza.
I like noodles. And bread!
You can TRY it.
They go to the supermarket.
Dad reads the shopping list.
Ben helps. Betty does not help Dad.
Who can find the tomatoes?
I can.
Let's see.
We have cheese, red peppers, chicken, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes and … NOODLES?
Dad and the children buy the food.
Then they go home.
Dad makes a pizza.
The children watch him.
He uses tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers, chicken and lots of cheese.
Then he puts an egg on top.
Wash your hands. It's your turn.
This is … fun!
Ben and Betty are busy in the kitchen.
They make their pizzas.
Look, Betty. This is easy!
The pizza flies up …
Oh no!
… and goes on Dad's head.
Help!
Sorry, Dad!
The pizzas are in the oven now.
But the kitchen is very dirty!
Ben and Betty help Dad clean the kitchen.
Dad opens the oven door.
The pizzas smell wonderful!
Be careful. They're hot.
Mm, I'm hungry!
The family sits down for dinner.
Betty tries the pizza.
Mum, Dad and Ben watch Betty.
They wait.
I don't like pizza …
... I love pizza!
Phew!
Let's eat!
