Watch out, Sam!
By Lisa Cheung
Tina is on her way to school.
Look, Mum. That's Sam, my new classmate.
Hi, Sam!
Sam doesn't see me.
At break, Ben, Tina and Sam play together.
Ben throws the ball to Sam.
The ball hits Sam on the head.
Ouch!
Sorry Sam!
After lunch, the children have a Maths class.
Miss Miller writes the sums on the blackboard.
Tina, is that seven?
No, Sam. That's one.
Oh!
After school, Miss Miller checks the students' work.
She looks at Sam's paper.
The sums are not right.
I need to talk to Sam's mum.
The following morning, Sam and his mum come to see Miss Miller.
Sam, what does that poster say?
I can't see the letters.
Sam may need glasses.
Sam is scared. He does not want to wear glasses.
At night, he has a bad dream.
Oh no. I'm a monster!
Sam and his mum go to see Mr Brown, the eye doctor.
Sam reads out some big and small letters.
OK, Sam.
Thank you, Mr Brown!
The next Monday, Sam wears his new glasses.
I love your glasses!
You look super smart!
Thanks! I feel super cool too!
