A tea party
By JoAnn Dionne
Little Cat wants to have a tea party.
She asks her friends to come.
Dear friends, please come to my house for tea at three. Thank you.
Little Cat goes to the kitchen.
She takes out a kettle and a teapot.
Oh-oh! Little cat has a problem.
I do not have cups!
Little Cat calls Big Cat.
Big Cat, I do not have cups!
Do not worry, Little Cat. I can bring cups.
Thank you, Big Cat.
Soon the doorbell rings. Little Cat runs to the door.
She is happy to see her friends!
Hello, Little Cat!
Hello, my friends!
Look! Big Cat brings cups. Grey Cat brings a jug of milk.
Black Cat brings a cake with jam.
And Orange cat brings lemons!
Thank you, my friends.
Little Cat and her friends have a good time.
They sing and dance together.
I am a teapot – big and fat.
Beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep.
Look at me!
I am a teapot – big and fat.
Beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep.
Look at me!
I am a teapot – big and fat.
Beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep.
Look at me!
I am a teapot – big and fat.
Beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep.
Look at me!
They are very happy.
