Yummy!
By Virginia Wong
Miss Grey tells us a story.
It is a story about Big Henry.
Big Henry is always hungry.
This makes his mummy very busy.
I am hungry.
'What is this?' asks Big Henry.
'It is soup,' says busy mummy.
'What is this?' asks Big Henry.
'It is rice,' says busy mummy.
'Is this an apple pie?' asks Big Henry.
'Yes, it is,' says busy mummy.
'Is this a hamburger?' asks Big Henry.
'No, it is not,' says busy mummy.
Now Big Henry wants tea and bread.
Busy mummy shakes her head.
Now Big Henry wants cheese and meat.
Busy mummy walks away on sore feet.
Then Big Henry wants some jam.
But busy mummy gives him some ham.
And Big Henry wants a potato.
But busy mummy gives him a mango.
Then Big Henry looks at the door.
But busy mummy comes no more.
Big Henry looks for his mummy.
Oh! Mummy is not happy!
Big Henry cooks for Mummy.
He wants to make her happy.
'What is this?' asks Mummy.
'It is a sandwich,' says Big Henry.
'Yummy!' says happy mummy.
