King of the Parking Lot

He's up before the dawn

He's down before the moonlight

He takes the 5 to work today

While we are still sleep

There's traffic on the Freemont

But he gets to work on time

He's fighting smoke and steel all day

By the river in the city

He's the king of the parking lot

We know that he loves us lots

He's the king of the parking lot

You best double park him not

He pays the bills on time

We pray he don't get laid off

He'll take us fishing to the lake

Even when he's really tired

He's the king of the parking lot

We know that he loves us lots

He's the king of the parking lot

He's the king of the parking lot

He's the king of the parking lot

We know that he loves us so much

He's the king of the parking lot

You best double park him not

Way up high and down below

Through the streets and all we know

Way up high and down below

Over the bridges and on we go

He's the king of the parking lot

We know that he loves us lots

He's the king of the parking lot

You best double park him not

He's the king of the parking lot

We know that he loves us so much

He's the king of the parking lot

You best double park him not

Way up high and down below

Through the field and all we know

Way up high and down below

I can't believe what you now know
