Plot Twist

Tales of you and I have holes in story lines

But, it's not finished yet there's so much left to write

When they shoot the movie, who will play the part of

You some rising star, so spectacular

Will we make it baby, I'm trying to work it out

But I don't wanna see the plot twist

I'll leave before the curtain closes

Are we living through a lens

Is it real or just pretend

Please don't tell me how it ends

Please don't tell me how it ends

We could build a house with

Views from all around we're

Far from all the action, Paps and cameras flashing

Will we win awards with qeues from door to door

Front page magazines, life in limousines

Will we make it baby, I'm trying to work it out

But I don't wanna see the plot twist

I'll leave before the curtain closes

Are we living through a lens

Is it real or just pretend

Please don't tell me how it ends

Please don't tell me how it ends

Oh, when the lights come on

Are they crying as the final credit roles

I don't wanna see the plot twist

I know there's gonna be a plot twist

Just when you've got it all worked out

It's like the bomb shell in the crowd

And I can't live through that again

Please don't tell me how it ends

Please don't tell me how it ends

Please don't tell me how it ends
