Marooned

It comes and goes

It comes and goes in waves

It can be night or day

Never safe

Never asleep

Never awake

And I don’t think I know whats good for me good for me

Hope they send a lifeboat to look for me

Let it break

Blood in the water its a red sea

I can feel a split in the middle

Which side should I swim to?

Will I wash up next to you?
