Floating down

I hit the ground

open my eyes

climbed to my feet

i don’t recognize this space

i don’t recognize this place

Taking pills

to lose the chills

wrapped a blanket

around my waist

now my worries dissipate

now my worries disappear

With my problems gone

my mind will not race

my heart beat slows

to a calm pace

Walked outside

fresh air at last

hear birds chirp

and smell wet grass

the world is still here

I’ve treated my body

like a temple of sin
