my heart is a piano

Luke warm

In a room with white walls

Peel off my skin and blend right into them

The creases in my hands are getting deeper

I bit off both my thumbs and left them on the floor

Now I'm bleeding out and all my teeth hurt

Now I feel the darkness in my core

Press the flesh upon my cheek onto the window

And sing my heart is a piano

My limbs are made of steel

My galaxies are fluctuating

Nights and days in

Cars and trains

Incarceration

Bones decay

I lay awake

I am afraid to say

My heart is a piano

Watch the universe unfold

I can't be told

How old I am

I am a girl I am a man

I am the earth I am the land

So wait for me

We'll sit beneath

The big gum tree

And watch the leaves

Where did they fall

Where did they go

How did they see

How did they know

My heart is a piano

My limbs are made of steel

My galaxies are fluctuating

Nights and days in

Cars and trains

Incarceration

Bones decay

I lay awake

I am afraid to say

My heart is a piano
