I'm Glad

So sad, baby

So glad, girl

When you first came 'round, I was sad

My head hung down, I felt really bad

Now I'm glad

Glad about the good times, oh,

that we've had

So sad, baby

So (Walked in the park)sad, baby

Kissed in the dark

So (Leaves burned just like)glad, girl

Just like a spark

Now I'm glad

Glad about the good times,oh,

that we've had

So sad, baby

You went away

Oh, I cried night and the day

For what you done

I had to pay

You left me so blue

I don't know anywhere to go or

What to do

Please come back and let the

Sun shine through

So,(sun passed behind a cloud)sad, baby

I felt so proud

So,(We walk down the street)glad, baby

People smile that we meet

And I'm glad

Glad about the good times, oh,

that we've had

So sad, baby

You said I was the best man

So,(you ever, ever had oh) glad, girl

Yes, I'm so, so glad

So,(I'm so glad) sad, baby

Oh, so, so glad
