With 17 I stopped eating And thought

that meant I am in control

Of my life

I lost weight and all my friends

I told myself I am

Just different

You’re so distant, you look different

All these years that I have been

Living life on supplements

I’m hungry

With 21 I got nauseous

I threw up and out of balance

Rope-dancing In my basement

I got freckles and a black eye

I lost myself in a fight

Against me

Against my own body

All these years that I have been
