We lost a great great man today

But outside is just another Wednesday

I'm sick of people passing me by

How come we can't all stick around too long

And a long time for yourself

Can be a short time for everyone else

So well just have to wait and see

If this feeling is overdue

Is it true I can't believe it's true

Well I'm just a stupid boy

Yeah that's what he'd always say

We'd go to galleries once in a while

And stand around and look at paintings all day

There was a matisse that I liked

There was a turner that he loved

We had it printed and he put it in his living room

It looked great

Yeah it looks great

For goodness sake
