Road Trip

other day, another time punch

I need a break from all of this

When the best part of the day is my lunch

You know I'm tired of this shit

So bring on the open road

Time for a breather

Tell the 18 wheelers to make some noise

I got some chips, my Big Gulp, and some candy

Turn up Dierks Bentley

Drive til empty

You and me babe, how does that sound

Little vacay away outta town

Just you and me babe, windows down

We can head any way, outward bound

I know you feel it too

So let's dip

I'm ready for a road trip

Just kick your feet up on the dashboard

We got a while til we stop

Gonna press the pedal through the floorboard

And pray we never see a cop

Bring on the open road

And Cracker Barrel

Drink an extra red bull for the boys

Don't have a worry or a destination

Just a country station

My kinda situation

You and me babe, how does that sound

Little vacay away outta town

Just you and me babe, windows down

We can head any way, outward bound

I know you feel it too

So let's dip

I'm ready for a road trip

Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas

Count the license plates until we see 'em all

California, maybe even Mexico

Let's just see how far these four wheels can go

You and me babe, how does that sound

Little vacay away outta town

Just you and me babe, windows down

We can head any way, outward bound

I know you feel it too

Yoo, come on come on,we do

so there still

I'm ready for a road trip

I'm ready for a road trip
