I get caught up in oppression

I’m locked in a cage

and I’m losing my direction

to keep things straight

I am thrashed by my obsession

and I’m afraid

cause I’m getting the impression

that it’s too late

to get out of here

All of my pain makes me feel numb

I do not know where it comes from

I never noticed it until it began

I can’t go on

cause I feel numb

I feel so numb and I’ve come undone

I can’t accept my obligations

still losing strength

cause I’m racked by my depression

and the bitter taste

of people’s moral condemnation

I’ve been replaced

though I am bent and I feel broken

it’s not too late

to get out of here
