Pink Slips

You blew me a kiss in the class that she skips

And you hold my hand, but she bites my lips

I wear your sweater, for her I unzip

You write me love letters, but she gets pink slips

She gets pink slips

Should butterflies be in my stomach

While my head is on your lap

Shouldn't I be feeling something

Can't get myself to love you back

And your eyelines are flawless

Always colored in the lines

But her mekeup's always running

And in the race she's first in line

You blew me a kiss in the class that she skips

And you hold my hand, but she bites my lips

I wear your sweater, for her I unzip

You write me love letters, but she gets pink slips

She gets pink slips

You're giving me too much attention

You think you're doing it all right

I guess in theory, it's all perfect

But perfect's never been my type

And it's all wrong in my head

It might sound a little twisted

But she's living like she's already dead

And I'm a sucker for the wicked

I always want what I can't have

I guess we have that in common

I'm always looking for the greener grass

And she's the daisy in my garden

And it seems we're in the same boat

Clinging to something that could never float

]Diving head first in the deep end

Drowning in love poison

You blew me a kiss in the class that she skips

And you hold my hand, but she bites my lips

I wear your sweater, for her I unzip

You write me love letters, but she gets pink slips

You blew me a kiss in the class that she skips

And you hold my hand, but she bites my lips

I wear your sweater, for her I unzip

You write me love letters, but she gets pink slips
