It's My Day

I’m not sure if this is what I believe in,

I’m not sure if this is what I been loving for,

Years ago, I had my fears, now I have my tears, I close my eyes,

Still, I choose to live in this complicated world,

What I went through, something that I should be over now.

I’m standing on my feet,

I’m just beginning to feel, I’m just beginning to live,

I know where I should go,

I know for sure today is my day

I live as I believe because my past has never got in my way.

Someone says there is a place for me to stay,

Someone says there is a fountain to wash my tears away,

And I know it’s not easy to live in this world of pain

Don’t know how I could survive, but somehow I am alright,

And all the missing pieces fall into place.
