Crawling back.

It's a calling back to the sea,

so I could rest my case,

give me time to breathe.

I keep crawling back  -

responding to the shadows at the sea,

so I could test my faith.

Hey, find sense of comfort -

the waves keep on crashing down, down, down, down.

Five cents for the triumphants -

everyone rushing to drown, drown, drown.

Holding back,

holding back the unease.

Must test the space

between us, you’ll see.

Won't you haunt me back?

For the taunt I might have caused

for the sleepless, peaceless pause.
