Of all the dead lilies

the gravy on a Philly steak

Dreaded dreadlocks hung from a ceiling

Omnipresent in a dream

A fortuitous rabbit - clamped within a fox jaw

Espionage of the soul, permitted by law

Read aloud a crumbling epitaph

Born of an innocent, shed of an innocent

Of all the dead sunflowers

never turned to you

Stand in the sun to be seen

Stand in the sun to become ash

Hot dog sugar meat shoved in, shoved out

Fast suicide forbidden, slowly done allowed

I love when the bloom coincides

with a streak of blood red faith

Spores in the air, vomit and steel in the soil

With hope to save all

when few are saved

seduced by a woman of grace

Sloppily dribbled and disdainfully came on a white dove

To be certain it wasn’t a fling
