I - no beginning or an end

high above the earth below

I have seen the ages as they come and go

I - am like water from a fountain

I - where you will never thirst again

bleeding out that water from inside a stone

flowing through your fragile bones

and I ask why

do we suffer and collide

oh we’re bent beneath a load X2

so heavy heavy X2

I - am like the last horizon

I - reaching out across the sky

beckoning you closer to the edge

of understanding with a painted light

and I ask why

we hurt each other and turn to the night

down that road we choose to go X2
