Fire Burns In My Head

The night was so dark, the street lights were dim

I saw all kinds of fear on their faces

It gave a meaning to the night

The flames were so bright and reached the sky

The pier burnt up and everybody cried

Everybody cried and I got a smile

I just stood there with emptied cans

I saw only shadows and I won't forget

The fire burns in my head

Four walls around, they are keepin' me alive

I got a straightjacket but it still burns inside

I always think about the things burn around

I know their tears cannot put the fire out
