On the Horizon

It makes no sense to me

I dream of all the things that have been but will never be

Drown in my misery

Wave after wave wave after wave

I never find myself closer to the sun

And if I chase for long enough

Do you think that the hands of time would show me mercy

They don't show me any

So I'm on the horizon

Always on the horizon

I watch the sun go down

Without so much as a sound

I find myself unbound

Now I'm on the horizon

Go with the change of season

Let it fade away

And come what may
