Atlas

Carried through a year by hopes and by fears

Flickering light

Keen taking shelter in dreams that would melt

Floor to ceiling a swelter as beams fall to dwell no more

But I know it’s all in a life

Oh, but I know it’s all in a life

And it could be worth it to know that time won’t slow

Won’t tell a lie

And I’ve started searching for the hidden shine to all the things

Gone by

Hold them close always a warm embrace

For all that grows stems from a novel face

One story goes yet somehow a missing page will arrive, called to a life

And it could be worth it to know that time won’t slow

Won’t say goodbye

So land in journeyed hands, in a look, a book in true eyes

So land in journeyed hands, in a smile, a mile in blue skies

So land in journeyed hands, in a greeting, a fleeting sunrise

So stand in shifting sand

Oh, oh always a warm embrace

Always reaching, teaching time

Two hands in shifting sands
