歌词

Now that I have climbed this mountain, I never want to leave
I see all kinds of futures, in the world beneath my feet
. Now that I have climbed this mountain, where I’ve been it seems so small
A rock on the horizon, it’s people one and all.

And there’s been fire in this mountain, yes the flames will rise again
. And I will carve myself another life, where the earth will shake and trees alight, I will grow this garden green and bright around you.

Now that I have climbed this mountain, I see others in the haze
And I wonder just what I could see, If I met one every day
. Could my legs carry me onward? Could my heart survive the trial? Is it true we all live a dozen lives? After every fall is another rise? Could my garden grow again so bright around you?

Now that I have climbed this mountain, can what I see be taken true?
Will the road before me guide the way? Or could it vanish clear from view?

And if I take one step towards you, will the fog come rolling in?
If I leave this shore behind me, will the ocean draw me in?
There’s been fire in this mountain, yes the flames will rise again
And I can trust my mind has realised that it’s time to see through clearer eyes, there’s a garden growing green and bright around you
