Election Speech 2100

歌词
Inaugural Address of President Jacob Hsiang
FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2100
Mr. Speaker, Ms. Chief Justice Zhou, President Tom, President ****, Vice President Harry, fellow citizens and the people of the world, thank you.
Today, standing here, chord in my heart, I feel an impulse of retrospect. I feel obliged to look back firstly, at the beginning of the new century. And I believe all of you have the same feeling.
When we look back, to our past lives, we are certainly surprised by the change we went through. There is no another generation like us, in the history, have suffered so much change in just a couple of decades.
Fifty years ago, our father generation reached the peak of the 4th industrial revolution. But we soon found the air on the top is not joyous, but rarefied.
Forty years ago, war between human and AI broke out. The human ushered the most dangerous moment. It was the crossroad decided whether the train of human wound continue running or hit the wall.
Ten years ago, after heroic effort we made all together, we finally achieved staged victory. We stopped the violence and /k/illing, we regained the control of the earth.
However, the fact we must face is our losses have been very great. Millions of Americans devoted their lives. Millions of Americans gave their all.
******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
I want to say, that’s why America survives. The reason why United States still stands, The reason why after such winter of hardship, we still gather in front of the Capitol, And the reason why I can put my hand on the Bible, and promise you, like the former 59 presidents did, promise you a bright future, is the promise our country made.
The reason is we promised.
We the people, unite together, and make this country a promised land.
Today standing here, as the first Asian President of America, I know the situation is totally different from the time of President Obama. One century ago, our grandfathers vote for a black president because of the spirit of equality. That’s progress. But today after so much disaster we have stepped further.
The core spirit this country pursues is not only equality, but solidarity. I’m honored to be elected not because I stand for any advanced group, but I hold a faith that all the people should work together like you do.
We are stepping into the new century, with the unprecedented solidarity. We united to win the war, so we can unite to get through the darkest hours.
We can create prosperity again. The collapsed buildings will be reconstructed. The shattered economy will be revitalized. The victims will be honored. The survivors will have new lives.
To my fellow Americans, this much we pledge, and we can pledge more, as long as all the citizens unite together.
To our broken world, the United States is willing to stretch her hands to the allies. China, Europe, Russia, all the countries unclenched their fists and united to fight together in the past decades. We have reached this consensus: Unite, not because the ruthless enemy, but we are brothers.
Now, it’s time to turn back our head and see the future. The scripture says, “The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit”. Now it’s time for all of us to keep united and fight.
Long will the legend be told, and forever will his name be remembered. Today as the new birth of United States will never be forgot in the long run of history. Our generation as a generation of fighters will be honored as heroes of human forever.
Long night is nearly over, new birth is almost coming. My fellow Americans, I ask you to unite together, unite all the power and spirit of America and the world to create a new century.
God bless you. God bless America.
