At the bottom of the sea

There's a shell for you and me

I told you I would wait there

I sat down and held my breath

You said you gone up for air

I waited for two whole years

Ran out of breath and out of time

Hoping you would change your mind

Either way it doesn't make a difference

You came back and I was gone

And making out like everything the same for us doesn't help

You took too long

I came up for air myself

Thinking you'er left me to drown

It wasn't long till I found out

You had gone back to the shell

And now you're left it up to me

To meet you back under the sea and

I know it could make all the difference

If I come back you might be gone

If I take too long

Wait for me

I can't decide

I'll look for our shell
