Sinner Man

Verse Number One:

Long ago...in a parable of old...

Jesus told of a bruised and battered soul...

Layin out beside the way...people passed him on that day...

There was no one to help....a helpless sinner man...

Verse Number Two:

A Samaritan was travelin' down that road...

Saw a shattered life...beneath life's heavy load...

Bound him up with oil and wine...took him to an Inn that night...

Gave a helpin' hand..... to a helpless sinner man....

The Chorus:

LEND A HELPING HAND

TO A HELPLESS SINNER MAN...

PULL HIM OUT OF THIS OLD LIFE'S

SINKIN' SAND...

PUT HIS FEET UPON A ROCK

HELP HIM BACK UP TO THE TOP

LEND A HELPIN HAND...

TO A HELPLESS SINNER MAN...

Verse Number Three:

Years ago, I was a sinner...so undone...

A lonely man..who needed help from God's own Son...

He pulled me up from way down low...gave me joy back in my soul....

A helping hand he gave...to this helpless sinner man

Repeat Chorus:

LEND A HELPING HAND

TO A HELPLESS SINNER MAN...

PULL HIM OUT OF THIS OLD LIFE'S

SINKIN' SAND...

PUT HIS FEET UPON A ROCK

HELP HIM BACK UP TO THE TOP

LEND A HELPIN HAND...

TO A HELPLESS SINNER MAN...
