Silence Was a Melody

Silence was a melody

Snow had fallen to the ground

You were waiting like a lone shadow

As the cars drove on

Carnivals and childhood playgrounds

Lost to my memory

Walked upon the barren wasteland

Hiding in his overcoat

And if I ever find someone

You know the winter wouldn't be so cold

And if I ever find someone

You know the winter wouldn't be so cold

Be so cold

Eyes of smiling children

Crying in the wind

Memories swirling like a swan song

When silence was a melody

And if I ever find someone...
