歌词
Previous grey droplets of rain
Have covered the earth with amber leaves
Hoarfrost paints the grass and the lanes,
Clouds like sorrowful swans in the wreath
Snowcrystals like diamonds fall from the skies
Bleak winterscapes in dismal moonrise
Blizzards of fate throw me in a dream
Embrace me by frost, ever-old Winterqueen
Snowstorms whirl in dance
Firs and birches waltz with hail
Cruel Winter vaguely laughs
Mortal beings sorely wail
Snowdrifts, moroks, ebony sun
Lifeless trees, silence and heavens so dun
Sleeping rivers, snowflakes
Frozen glass of winterlakes
Wolves are wailing in the night
Moon so sad in smoky light
Coldness pierces me throughout
Breathe the scent of wood, frost-bound
We are frost-bound!
Caress the stars in Jack Frost's arms
And learn the Winter's reverie
The time of birth of lucid god –
The guard of vernal memory...
Across the grief there is a joy
Kolyadas, fetes and merriments
Lukewarm fire, evening ploys
Winter's beauteous cerement
February snowfalls rage with all might,
They haze and waft the gloomy sights
Spirits of Winter bark at the moon
The Bright Newborn Sun is rising soon...
Vernal beauty melts the ice
Streams of tears wash the land
Prostrate Winter sadly cries
Princess Spring has won again!
