歌词
The Ballrooms in this country are living proof today
Of a man whos now a legend from Wicklow to Galway
We love our country music to us its everything
Don't mater what they tell you Big Tom is still the King
When Peter pitched excitement country music on our minds
I drive a hundred miles to hear that voice so warm and kind
And I still can recall now the first time I heard him sing
I been proud to be from Blayney where Big Tom is still the King
You can have your Waylon Jennings or Nashvilles Charlie Pride
The most of all they are super stars but for us its Tom Mcbride
Oh Nashville is so far away it scares me to think
When you are in old Ireland Big Tom is still the King
Next time you are down in Wexford or western Old Mayo
Don't need to ask them whose the King they chose Big Tom long ago
You can ask the stars in Ireland they say hes got the swing
They'll be the first to tell you Big Tom is still the King
You can have your Waylon Jennings or Nashvilles Charlie Pride
Most of all they are super stars but for us its Tom Mcbride
Oh Nashville is so far away it scares me to think
When you are in old Ireland Big Tom is still the King
Yes when you are in old Ireland Big Tom is still the King
