Dear Santa Claus, bring me a toy
Make it be something that Daddy won't enjoy
Last year he got up
Right after you came
And he stayed up all night playing
With my video games
(Dear Santa Claus) Dear Santa Claus
(Dear Santa Claus) I don't mean to complain
But he did the same thing with my brother's model train
And he ate all the peanuts from my cracker jacks
And we found him fast asleep
Across the choo choo tracks
So on Christmas day
Please keep my dad away from my presents that you bring
So they'll still be wrapped
Not in Daddy's lap and
So I can have a Christmas of my dreams
(Dear Santa Claus) Dear Santa Claus
(Dear Santa Claus) Bring me a toy
Make it be something that Daddy won't enjoy
Give him a computer, a new cell phone
So I can have some presents of my own
♪
So on Christmas day
Please keep my dad away from my presents that you bring
So they'll still be wrapped
Not in Daddy's lap
So I can have a Christmas of my dreams
