Let It Snow

The world is getting colder

The frost is in the ground

We need a big white blanket to quiet down

♪

The highways and the houses

And all the rivers, too

Soon will all be covered

Or look as new

♪

Let nature change the landscape

And winter run the show

For we could really use some lightness

Let it snow, let it snow

Nothing like a promise

It was only yesterday

That father tied my laces

And I would skate away

Let nature change the landscape

And winter run the show

I wouldn't really mind some kindness

Let it snow, let it snow

♪

And leave that paint by numbers

Untouched and unstained

Until the lack of color is slowly taken by the rain

Let nature change the landscape

And winter run the show

For we could really use some beauty, oh

Let it snow, let it snow
