歌词

Oh, when you said I loved you, you mighta been lying
But it sure sounded good at the time
Sounded good at the time, this is probably
The oldest song we've written for this record, right?
We wrote this with the Warner Brothers who, you know
You know, you're going to write something fun with them, when you get in a room, they
They have the most energy in the world
And this was something I can't remember
Did you have something put together for this? (Yep)
Eh, the little loopy banjo thing
I think you did, you had a loopy banjo, which is funny, tornadoes
Tornadoes say very different
This is the Dave noodling records turning in the hit songs
He started a lot of good ideas
Yeah, this one's kind of been the dark horse
You know, it kind of lived for a while
It's a lot, lot of, lot of times when you're doing a record
It's just the nature of the beast
The ones you write early on kind of end up, you start falling out of love with them
Because you heard him so many times
And so, this one has just kind of hung around
It feels good, it feels like something this
Of all the songs, this just feels like
It feels like, I think for the fans will be like, that's just
That's a Lady A tune right there, you know
This one isn't stretching too far
It's kind of just a good summer song, feel good song
Like it could have easily been on our first record
It's got some of that nostalgia too, you know
It's got some of that nostalgia
But it sure sounded good...
At the time
