Stay Up

Well that escalated quickly

It did

It's almost faster than light

The fact remains that all these feelings aren't just active at night

It's savage, I'm 21 and it's a dagger and knife

That would relieve me don't deceive me that these actions were right

But no

I made 'em real because what's real doesn't last,

And I'm realizing all that I concealed was the action

But the meaning they were built on was lasting

And every time I changed it's like the ceilings were crashing

Cause that's my limit

And to break it would be legendary

I'm from a home where mental health aint definitive

Visually or in feels so the cause of it could be sedentary

Unless you bleeding or broken or its hereditary

To them its nothing, which mentally man is hella scary

I'm so alone but with family I'm like an alien

Broke from the time away so instead, created this alias

Where I can be myself and I'm feeling like I'll prevail in this.

To anybody with a similar mind

This mindset that we've endured that others kill to define

You know it's a blessing and a curse

That only we can decide to keep or divide

And take a peek and see what's inside

You're not alone so come me through lows and peaks on this ride

Through treasures God left and demons said that we couldn't find

And if you've ever fallen down just know that weakness in time

Will turn to stories of the ones who turned their tears into wine

So stay up

But not because its what you have to do

But for the people that's hurt and following after you

You mean something

And in time you'll see that fact is true

You may not feel this now, but in silence there's some new attitude

So stay up

And grow some strength in your feelings

To focus on yourself and mental health don't make you a villain

Take some time, go be selfish, just don't keep overthinking

And find a way to love yourself and all the gifts you've been given

Its life.
