Tears on my poetry and no where to go

I've got a thousand friends, yet I still feel alone

They all think they see through me but their eyes are closed

I've got tears on my poetry and no where to go

I wrote you letters, I threw them all away

It's a long needed conversation for some other day

I don't need your help, I'll push this away

Just prove to me that you won't go

You mean so much more than you'll ever know

It's true I lost my way along the road

But the sins are inviting and promise me warmth

I won't back down, I'll keep my word

Don't give up on me just yet

Fighting a war alone is harder than it looks

I'll write out a story to tell when I meet someone new
