歌词
How are you, my dear Nikolai
What's new behind the iron wall
In this letter, I'll write to you
Of life as a free Ben Yisroel
The day begins rather early
Sweet sounds of children learning Torah
Davening avodas Hashem
Oh what a beautiful haschala
Your plight pierces my soul
A Jew truly exiled
But yet a Jew of courage
Who's faith shall never die
Soon great walls of the Haichal
Will replace the iron curtain
Still, I wish you could be here
My poor and lonely brother
