歌词
Dumplings, dumplings, lovely dumplings!
Mix them, whack them, roll them out and smack them!
Bounce them, boil them, bashing them, won't spoil them
Flour and suet, fry it up, or stew it
Dumplings, oh, lovely dumplings!
Dumplings, dumplings, dear old dumplings!
So nutritious, fill you up, delicious!
A meal or a snack, at any time of day
You won't stay hungry, when a dumpling's on the way
Dumplings, oh, lovely dumplings!
Fit for a king essential for a prince
Particularly when you serve them up with mince
Make them sweet with sugar and some custard
A savoury treat with sausages and mustard
Don't want to sound, like I'm starting to get cocky
But Chinese call them wonton and Italians gnocchi
Folks are eating them all around the world
You want a dumpling, just say the word
Dumplings, oh, lovely dumplings!
My lovely dumplings!
